A 2026 Annual Appeal Campaign
Arts funding cuts continue to disproportionately impact Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, placing BIPOC-led arts organizations at ongoing risk. With fewer resources to begin with, these organizations are often forced to reduce or eliminate programs that provide young people with safe, creative spaces for expression and growth. Arts programming plays a vital role in supporting youth mental health, building confidence, and offering constructive outlets for communication and connection. Without intentional and sustained investment, these opportunities—and the progress they represent—are difficult to maintain.
ArtSpark’s annual appeal supports Keep Boston Creative, an initiative focused on sustaining and expanding access to the arts for young BIPOC artists. Through this appeal, ArtSpark seeks general community support to fund programming, materials, and platforms that amplify underrepresented voices and strengthen artistic development. The $5,000 fundraising goal will help ensure these creative opportunities remain accessible, visible, and impactful for Boston’s youth and artistic community.
